Fearless DJ and producer Florian Picasso released his new high-octane single, ‘The Edge’, on the 5th of May via his label, La Californie Musique. The song is the second one he has released within a month, following close behind his charismatic track ‘Make Me Dance’. Having released a prolific number of tracks in 2023, Florian’s music has gained the support of Deep House Sweden, CLASH Magazine, Dancing Astronaut, DJ Mag, EDM.com, We Rave You, Your EDM, EARMILK, Mixmag Asia, and Forbes.

Florian is writing his own story with his own signature, never limiting his creative mind. Having previously collaborated with hip-hop star NAS and famed singer-songwriter John Legend on the single ‘Tomorrow’, his music has been streamed 120 million on Spotify and Youtube.

Picasso is no stage name, Florian is the great-grandson of the mighty Pablo Picasso. He recently paid tribute to his great grandfather in the most artistic and innovative way with some exceptional shows in the unique location, the Picasso Villa ‘La Californie’.

Tapping his filthier side, Florian Picasso has shared a dramatic number, a heavy mix of sliding bass and unrelenting hi-hats. Stunning vocals carry the emotion, while the underlying production rushes headlong toward each drop like a torrent beneath a bridge.

Florian Picasso shares his perspective: “When it comes to releases on my own label, I see it as a cycle: my two previous releases were more house and sexy. Now it’s time for the dark and filthy cycle with this release.”
